Smart rings in the Amazon festival sale: Galaxy Ring at ₹22,499 on Digit's list, ₹14,999 on our tracker
Digit compared four smart rings in Amazon's festival sale; here is what the Galaxy Ring price gap means and who should still skip a ring.

A smart ring that listed at ₹39,999 is now one of the cheaper ways into sleep and recovery tracking without wearing a watch. Digit's sale round-up from 15 October puts four rings side by side, and the numbers show why the sticker price alone misleads.
If you have been eyeing a smart ring but balked at the price, the festival sale has quietly changed the maths. Digit's round-up, updated on 15 October, lists the Samsung Galaxy Ring at ₹22,499 on Amazon against an MRP of ₹39,999. On top of that sit a bank offer of up to ₹3,000 for SBI card holders and Amazon Pay ICICI Bank cashback of up to ₹674. Digit adds that the final payable amount depends on eligibility and the offer terms, which is worth reading twice before you count the discount as certain.
Startbook's tracker shows a lower number for the Samsung Galaxy Ring: ₹14,999 for the size 14 Titanium Black listing on Amazon India, valid until 2 November. The two figures are not necessarily for the same size or seller, so treat the gap as a reason to check the exact listing rather than as a promise. Rings are sold in fixed sizes, and a ring that does not fit is the most common way this purchase goes wrong. Order the sizing kit first if you are unsure, and confirm the size on the page before you pay.
What do you get? Digit describes sleep, heart rate and daily activity tracking with personalised wellness insights, automatic workout detection, a titanium body, 10ATM water resistance and up to seven days of battery. The listing we track adds Galaxy AI features such as an Energy Score and wellness tips, and says there is no app subscription. That last point matters in India, where some rival rings charge a monthly membership on top of the hardware. Our earlier look at the Oura Ring 5 launch showed a ₹599 monthly fee on top of a ₹39,900 ring.
Digit also lists three cheaper or different options. The Gabit ring is at ₹13,112 against ₹15,426 and leans on AI health coaching and voice-based food logging. The Amazfit Helio Ring is at ₹21,999 against ₹29,999, with recovery and readiness insights through the Zepp app. The boAt SmartRing Active is at ₹2,401, which Digit calls the most affordable on the list, with basic heart rate, oxygen, sleep and stress tracking. Digit also notes that the boAt buy link shares a product ID with the Helio Ring, so confirm which product you are actually ordering.
If you want to compare beyond the sale, the Ultrahuman Ring AIR is tracked on Startbook at ₹28,499 from the maker's own store.
Who should buy? Someone who already wears a watch badly at night, wants sleep and recovery data, and can confirm the right size. A ring suits people who dislike a wrist device while sleeping or typing. Who should skip? Anyone who wants notifications, calls or maps on the wrist, since a ring is a tracker, not a smartwatch. Also skip if the price only works after a card offer you do not qualify for, or if you are not sure of your ring size. Sale prices on Amazon move quickly, so check the live page before you decide.
