Samsung Vision AI TVs in India: Mini LED 55 inch at ₹48,490, and what the AI Companion adds
Samsung's 2026 Vision AI TV range started at ₹36,990 in India; two 55-inch models now sit at ₹42,760 and ₹48,490 on Flipkart. Here is what the AI part does.

Samsung put AI into every 4K-and-above TV it launched in India this year, from the ₹36,990 UHD entry point to the ₹1.24 lakh Micro RGB flagships. If you are shopping the festive sale, the useful question is how much of that AI you will actually notice on a mid-range 55-inch set.
Samsung announced its 2026 Vision AI TV lineup in India on 26 May, with 72 models across Micro RGB, OLED, Neo QLED, The Frame, Mini LED and UHD ranges. Starting prices, as reported by FoneArena, run from ₹36,990 for UHD, ₹42,990 for Mini LED and ₹52,990 for Neo QLED, up to ₹1,14,990 for OLED and ₹1,24,990 for Micro RGB. Launch offers included cashback of up to 20 percent, EMI options and, on select models, a free soundbar.
The headline feature is Vision AI Companion. Samsung bundles Bixby, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot into one assistant on the TV, so you can ask what to watch, what to cook or what to listen to without picking up a phone. Around it sit smaller features that work quietly in the background: AI Upscaling Pro to sharpen low-resolution content, Color Booster Pro to adjust colour scene by scene, AI Sound Controller Pro to separate dialogue from music and effects, and an AI Soccer Mode for sports.
Why does that matter here? Plenty of what Indian households watch, from cable boxes to older films, is not native 4K, so good upscaling and clear dialogue are likely to be noticed more often than a spec-sheet panel upgrade. If most of your viewing is cricket, serials and streaming, the upscaler and the sound separation are the parts you will use daily, and the assistant is a convenience on top.
On Flipkart, the Samsung 55 inch Vision AI Mini LED 4K is priced at ₹48,490 against a list price of ₹59,990, with 30W speakers and Copilot and Perplexity built in. The launch report puts the Mini LED family at 144Hz motion handling with the NQ4 AI Gen2 processor, though check the exact model's panel details on the listing before you buy. The Samsung 55 inch QLED 4K Vision AI is ₹42,760 against a list price of ₹81,900, which is the bigger headline discount. Its listing names a Q4 AI processor and Quantum HDR, so treat it as a separate Flipkart model rather than the Neo QLED range from the launch article, and compare the specs line by line.
A word of caution on discounts. A 48 percent cut against a list price says little, because list prices on TVs are rarely what anyone paid. Judge by the final price and by what you get for it. For a bedroom or a second TV, the cheaper QLED listing is the easier call. For a main living-room set where you watch a lot of sport, the Mini LED family's 144Hz motion handling is the reason to pay the extra ₹5,730 or so.
Who should skip these? If you rarely use voice assistants and your TV is mostly for a single streaming app, the AI layer adds little, and a plain UHD set near ₹37,000 gets you most of the way. Also confirm the warranty and GST invoice on the listing, and note that both deals are listed until 2 November.
