Robot vacuums are one of the few big-ticket gadgets Indian buyers actively wait for sales to buy, and Big Billion Days and the Amazon Great Indian Festival are when shortlists get made. Smartprix's festive guide, updated on 9 October 2026, sorts six machines by what they are actually good at. Here is how to read it before you spend ₹75,000 or more.
If you are planning to buy a robot vacuum this festive season, the first problem is not finding a good one. It is that the best ones cost as much as a laptop, and the spec sheets all shout about suction. Smartprix's buying guide, updated on 9 October 2026 for Big Billion Days and the Amazon Great Indian Festival, is useful because it keeps asking what each machine is for.
At the top sits the Dreame X60 Ultra Complete. Smartprix lists it at ₹1,29,999 with 35,000Pa suction, a retractable sensor, recognition of more than 280 objects, 100°C mop washing and a 3.2L auto-empty bag. The base station also refills water, adds detergent and dries the mops with hot air. The guide calls it the most hands-free option and describes the price as a serious investment. Startbook tracks the same ₹1,29,999 figure on Dreame India, so there is no sale discount to count on yet.
For homes with shedding pets, the guide points to the Narwal Freo Z10 at ₹74,990, with 15,000Pa suction, automatic hair removal from the roller and a dock that washes and dries the mop. Be careful with names here. The listing we track is the Narwal Freo Z10 Ultra, a different model with 18,000Pa, dual RGB cameras for obstacle avoidance, a hot-water mop wash and a self-emptying dock. It is priced at ₹79,990 on Amazon India against a listed MRP of ₹1,99,999, and the offer runs until 2 November. Smartprix did not review the Ultra, so treat the pet-hair praise as applying to the Z10 and check the Ultra's product page before assuming the same.
Two other picks in the guide are not on our tracker. The Mova V50 Ultra Complete at ₹89,999 is chosen for climbing thresholds up to 6cm, which matters in older Indian flats with raised doorways. The ILIFE T60s at ₹59,400 is called the surprise solid pick, with LiDAR, an AI camera and 60°C mop washing, and the best value under ₹60,000.
The guide's most practical advice is in its FAQ. Suction between 15,000Pa and 25,000Pa is enough for most Indian homes with hard floors, and navigation and brush design matter as much as the number. Auto-empty is recommended for most buyers, and it typically adds ₹10,000 to ₹20,000 over a model without a dock. Washing mops at 60°C or above is presented as a real hygiene benefit rather than a gimmick. Bank offers and exchange deals can also change the effective price quickly, so compare the final checkout amount, not the sticker.
Who should buy the flagship? Someone with a large home, a busy schedule and no wish to touch the machine for weeks. Who should skip it? Anyone in a small flat, where 35,000Pa is wasted, and anyone who is happy to empty a bin. In that case a mid-priced model with a dock, such as the Dreame D30 Ultra tracked at ₹44,999, gets you most of the convenience for far less. Smartprix does not cover that model, so read its own review before deciding.
