Pebble Seeq AI glasses in India: ₹9,999 launch price, and what a budget pair gives you
Pebble's Seeq smart glasses launched in India at ₹9,999 with an 8MP camera and 75-language translation; here is who they suit and what the launch coverage leaves out.

Smart glasses from the big global brands mostly start above ₹30,000 in India. Pebble's Seeq, launched in July 2026, tries a different pitch: camera, voice assistant and open-ear audio in a frame priced under ₹10,000. Here is what that gets you and where to be careful.
If you have looked at AI glasses and walked away at the price tag, Pebble's Seeq is aimed squarely at you. Gizbot's launch report notes that most smart glasses from global brands sit well above ₹30,000, and Pebble opened pre-bookings at an introductory ₹9,999 against a regular price of ₹12,999.
What the glasses do
The frame carries an 8MP camera that the report says shoots 4K photos and records Full HD video. You trigger it with physical buttons or by voice, and a privacy light comes on whenever it is recording, which matters if you plan to wear them around other people. Audio comes from open-ear speakers, so you can play music or take calls while still hearing traffic around you, and touch controls on the temples handle volume, playback and calls.
The assistant wakes with the phrase "Hey, Seeq". The launch coverage lists real-time translation across 75 Indian and international languages, context-aware voice queries, reminders, information search and image recognition for landmarks, objects and text. It describes the assistant as mixing offline and online processing, but does not say which features need a connection, so assume anything that looks things up will want data.
Weight is under 50 grams, and the frames take prescription lenses that a local optician can fit. For anyone who wears glasses all day, that is a bigger deal than the camera.
Reading the price
The ₹9,999 figure was a launch offer. Startbook currently tracks the glasses at Pebble SeeQ AI Smart Glasses for ₹8,999 on Pebble's own store, against the ₹12,999 list price, so the live deal is cheaper than the launch coverage. Confirm the price and colour (Stealth Black and Titan Black were the two named at launch) at checkout, since direct-store prices move.
Who should buy, who should skip
These suit curious first-time buyers, travellers and students who want hands-free photos, quick translation and calls without spending a premium-brand sum. If you want to try the category before committing ₹40,000 or more, this is a low-risk way in.
Skip them if you need proven battery life, a long warranty or polished software updates. The launch report does not give battery capacity, Bluetooth version or warranty terms, and it is launch coverage rather than a hands-on test, so none of the camera or translation quality is verified. Wait for independent reviews if image quality or all-day battery is your deciding factor.
