LG's 2026 TV range reached India in August, and the entry Nano 4K line has since slipped well below its launch pricing in the festive window. If you are shopping for a mid-size living-room TV, here is what the Nano series brings and how the Flipkart prices compare with the launch numbers.
You want a new 4K TV for the living room before the festive offers end, and every box says "AI". What does that word really buy you on a mid-priced LG?
When LG launched its 2026 lineup in India in early August, the range ran from 32 inches to 115 inches and across several panel technologies: OLED evo, QNED Mini LED, Mini RGB, Micro RGB, Nano 4K UHD and a budget Smart AI TV line. Digit's launch report puts the Smart AI TV series at ₹19,990 to start, the Nano 4K UHD series at ₹38,990, and QNED Mini LED at ₹52,990. The OLED evo C6 begins at ₹1,19,990, and the 100-inch Micro RGB evo is the outlier at ₹12,99,990.
The Nano series is the sensible middle. According to the report, it uses the alpha 7 AI Processor Gen9, the Nano Detail Enhancer, HDR10 Pro and Dolby Atmos support. The processor's job is picture processing, including upscaling lower-resolution content to the panel's 4K. Digit also notes that the 2026 webOS release adds Google Gemini integration and Microsoft Copilot support, and that LG promises five years of webOS updates under its Re:New programme. The report does not say which series carry each assistant, so check the product page of the exact model before counting on voice search with either.
Now the prices. The launch figure of ₹38,990 is a starting price for the series. On Flipkart, the LG 43 inch Nano 4K UHD AI TV is listed at ₹30,994 against an MRP of ₹53,900, and the LG 55 inch Nano 4K UHD AI TV at ₹41,901 against ₹76,990. The listing for the 43-inch mentions a 60Hz panel with VRR, HDR10 Pro, AI Sound Pro with a 9.1.2 up-mix and Gemini plus Copilot search. Both listings are marked to run until 1 November, so the window is short. MRP discounts of over 40 percent look dramatic, but compare against the launch starting price instead: the 43-inch is roughly ₹8,000 below where the series opened.
Who should buy? A 43-inch suits a bedroom or a small hall, and a 55-inch is the better fit for a larger living room. The Nano panel is an LED LCD, not OLED, so deep blacks in a dark room are not its strength. If you mostly watch in a lit room, stream and want long software support, it is a sound pick.
Who should skip? Gamers chasing 120Hz will not get it on the 43-inch, which the listing describes as 60Hz. Anyone who wants true inky blacks should save for the OLED evo C6, which starts at about three times the Nano price. And if you only need a basic smart TV for a spare room, the Smart AI TV line from ₹19,990 may be enough.
One practical step: confirm the model number on the Flipkart page, the warranty terms and the delivery and installation arrangement for your pin code before you pay, since the launch report gives no warranty details for the Nano range.
