Galaxy Buds Core at ₹3,199 in the Amazon sale: what the Galaxy AI Interpreter really gives you
Samsung's Galaxy Buds Core launched at ₹4,999 and now sits at ₹3,199 in Amazon's festival sale. Here is what the Galaxy AI label covers, and who should look elsewhere.

Samsung's cheapest Galaxy AI earbuds launched in India at ₹4,999 in June 2025. During Amazon's Great Indian Festival 2026 sale they are listed at ₹3,199, which puts them in a crowded under-₹5,000 field. The question is whether the AI label means anything at that price.
You have ₹4,000 to spend on earbuds and every listing in the Amazon festival sale seems to say AI somewhere. Samsung's Galaxy Buds Core is one of the few where the label points to a specific feature, so it is worth separating what you get from what the word suggests.
Digit's roundup of Amazon festival earbud deals under ₹5,000 puts the Samsung Galaxy Buds Core at ₹3,199. The same list shows the Oppo Enco Air5 Pro at an effective ₹4,499, the Noise Master Buds at ₹3,999, the Realme Buds Air 8 at ₹3,709 and the OnePlus Nord Buds 4 Pro at about ₹3,700. The Samsung pair is the cheapest of the five. The roundup gives prices only, with no word on bank offers or coupons, so check the live listing at checkout, since sale prices on Amazon move quickly.
What does the money buy? Going by the launch coverage from My Mobile India, the Buds Core has active noise cancellation with an ambient sound mode, three microphones in each earbud, Bluetooth 5.4, IP54 dust and splash resistance, and a 31.2 gram case with USB-C charging. Battery is up to 35 hours in total without noise cancellation and about 20 hours with it switched on. That is the figure to plan around if you commute with ANC running all day.
The Galaxy AI part is the Interpreter, which helps with real-time translation of conversations and calls. The launch report does not say which Galaxy phones support it, and that matters. If your handset is not a recent Samsung, confirm compatibility on Samsung's own page before you count on the AI feature, and otherwise judge the pair purely as ANC earbuds.
Who should buy: Samsung phone owners who want a cheap second pair, or a gift for a family member who travels or deals with people in another language. At ₹3,199 the AI feature costs you very little extra over a plain ANC pair. Who should skip: anyone chasing the best sound or the longest battery with ANC on, and anyone who cares about the AI trick but is not on a Samsung phone. If you want earbuds that record and summarise meetings, that is a different product class, and the POVA AI Buds Pro at ₹11,999 is the one we tracked for that job.
